AS IT IS
Buddhists accept the
world as they find it, as it is. They
call this suchness, thusness, or tathata, the world without ideas superimposed
upon it.
Above all, they do not
place blame. They believe that the
individual determines what happens to him, not something “out there.” The external world only reacts to what the
individual does.
